We collaborated with our friends at @speckledaxcoffee for a set of tees based on the logging history of Maine!
Fact: We like the woods.
Another fact: Before the advent of tractor trailers and woods roads, Maine’s logs were primarily cut in winter, and at spring ice out were floated by river to waiting saw mills. Many different logging operations used the rivers simultaneously during these “drives,” so different combinations of marks were hacked with axes or augers into the butts of logs so they could be properly sorted at the drive’s end. What we have on these tees are some of those marks (and a couple of marks we might have made up ourselves). 😉
